Belinda Rose was a 63-year-old support worker from Walsall who was stabbed during a meeting at a supported living property in Perry Barr, Birmingham, on 9 August 2019.

She was attacked by Inderjit Ram, her employer, in what was described in court as a shocking and unprovoked assault. Emergency services attended the scene, but she died from her injuries shortly afterwards.

Her killer, Inderjit Ram, was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. The court heard that he had inflicted multiple stab wounds during the attack before attempting to leave the scene. Her death prompted widespread shock and tributes to her long career in care work.

She is remembered by her family, friends and colleagues as a kind, dedicated and compassionate woman who devoted her life to caring for others.

Rest in peace Belinda. You will not be forgotten.
