Lee Pomeroy was a 51-year-old IT consultant and devoted father from Surrey who was stabbed eighteen times and killed by Darren Pencille, a 36-year-old unemployed man of African origin and no fixed abode.
It happened on the Guildford to London train stopped at Horsley station in Surrey on 4 January 2019, while travelling with his 14-year-old son, who witnessed the entire attack.
His death devastated those closest to him and he continues to be remembered as a much-loved loving and devoted father whose loss is felt deeply by all who knew him.
Rest in peace Lee. You will not be forgotten.
