Peter Woodham, a 22-year-old father of one from Canning Town, East London, was shot dead on 21 August 2006 outside his home after confronting a local gang of teenagers.
He had previously been stabbed in the neck and face by members of the same group seven months earlier.
Bradley Tucker, an 18-year-old local man from the same Canning Town area, chased him down and shot him multiple times at close range with a handgun in front of his fiancée and young son.
Tucker was convicted of murder at the Old Bailey in 2007 and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 25 years.
