Rhiannon Whyte was a 27-year-old White British hotel worker and devoted mother from Walsall whose life was tragically taken in October 2024.
Remembered as a kind, caring and selfless woman, she is deeply mourned by her family and all who knew and loved her. She was murdered on 20 October 2024 after being followed from work and subjected to a frenzied, unprovoked attack at Bescot Stadium railway station.
She was killed by Deng Chol Majek, a Sudanese asylum seeker who had been residing at the hotel where she worked.
Majek was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 29 years.
Rest in peace Rhiannon. You will not be forgotten.
