Sarah Henshaw

Sarah Henshaw was a 40-year-old woman from Leeds who was murdered in her own home after being attacked with a hammer and then strangled by Kileo Mbega of Tanzanian origin, her former partner.

After the couple’s relationship ended, Mbega carried out the brutal attack before attempting to take his own life. He later pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment.

She will be remembered as a caring, compassionate and selfless person, she was deeply loved by her family and friends and is greatly missed by all who knew her.

Rest in peace Sarah. You will not be forgotten.
