Alex Leonard, a 23-year-old White British man, was stabbed to death in Birmingham on 3 July 2017.
He was killed after confronting a teenager who was behaving aggressively towards others in Woodgate Gardens, Bartley Green. Alex was simply trying to do the right thing.
He was murdered by Cameron Martin-Leon, a Black teenager from the local area. Martin-Leon was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 14 years.
