Christopher Folkes

Christopher Folkes was a 37-year-old father from Blackburn whose life was tragically taken in May 2012.

He is deeply mourned by his family and friends and is remembered as a devoted father and much-loved son whose loss left a lasting impact on those who knew him.

He was attacked near the lake in Queen’s Park, Blackburn, while walking to visit his mother. Christopher suffered severe head injuries during the unprovoked assault and never regained consciousness. He died in hospital the following day.

The attacker, Mohsin Mohammed, who was 16 at the time, was later convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.

Rest in peace Christopher. You will not be forgotten.
