Danny O’Shea

Danny O’Shea was just 18 years old when he was murdered in Canning Town, East London.

He was attacked in a revenge assault by a group of men who had come looking for someone else after a BlackBerry phone was stolen the previous week.

On the evening of 2 December 2011, Danny was chased and stabbed in the neck just yards from his mother’s home in Gill Avenue.

He was completely innocent and had no connection to the original dispute.

Nugent Rowe was convicted at the Old Bailey of the murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 24 years.

Danny was a popular, fun-loving teenager with his whole future ahead of him. He is deeply mourned by his family and friends.

Rest in peace Danny. You will not be forgotten.
