David Molloy

Perpetrator
David Molloy, a 24-year-old father from Hemel Hempstead, was murdered on 13 March 2018 after he went to his on-off partner’s home in Saturn Way following a Facebook message saying that Mohammed Khalid was there.
A confrontation broke out, during which 27-year-old Khalid stabbed David three times — twice in the lower back and once in the chest, piercing his heart — and he died at the scene.
Khalid, who had links to drug supply and was carrying a large knife, fled the scene and was later arrested in London while trying to obtain travel documents to go to Pakistan.
In August 2018 he was convicted of murder at Luton Crown Court, and the following month he was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 22 years. The killing was described as the tragic result of an angry confrontation.
Rest in peace, David. You will not be forgotten.
