Jack Donoghue was a 21-year-old man from Solihull whose life was tragically cut short on 30 November 2019. He was remembered by his family and friends as a kind, popular and much-loved young man with a close circle of friends and a bright future ahead of him. His death devastated those closest to him and left a lasting impact on the local community.
He was stabbed in the early hours of the morning during a violent incident outside Popworld nightclub on Poplar Road in Solihull town centre while on a night out with friends. Emergency services attended the scene, but Jack died from his injuries shortly afterwards.
The attack involved a group of individuals, and Tyrall Blake, a 21-year-old man of African origin and no fixed address, was later convicted of murder in connection with his death.
Rest in peace Jack. You will not be forgotten.
