Jodi Miller was a 21-year-old woman from Leeds whose life was tragically taken in February 2019. She was stabbed 15 times by Karar Ali Karar after rejecting his sexual advances, and he later pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 25 years.
Jodi is remembered by her family and friends as a loving and much-loved young woman whose death left a lasting wound on everyone who knew her.
Her murder shocked the local community and remains a heartbreaking reminder of how quickly a life can be stolen and how deeply such violence affects those left behind.
