Rosella Middleton

Rosella Middleton, an 83-year-old widow and former Sunday school teacher, was murdered on 20 April 1994 in her flat in Birchfield Tower, Perry Barr, Birmingham. 

Frank Rudolph Moe, who was born in Guyana and came to Britain in 1971 at the age of 16, gained entry to her home, sexually assaulted her and beat her to death. Her body was found the next day by her son. 

Moe was already in prison for the manslaughter of another man (Peter Armstrong), when DNA evidence later linked him to Rosella’s murder.

She is deeply missed by all who loved her and is remembered with great love by her family and friends.

Rest in peace Rosella. You will not be forgotten.
