Stephen Coulson, a 53-year-old cleaner from Beckton, east London, was murdered on the evening of 27 October 2006 outside the Hudson Bay pub in Upton Lane, Forest Gate.
A fight broke out inside the pub between Coulson and a group of men. It spilled onto the street, where Coulson was set upon by several people.
He was violently beaten and kicked by the group, then stabbed several times in the chest by Lincoln Peter, 51, from Barking.
Coulson collapsed in the street and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at the Royal London Hospital from the stab wounds to his chest.
Lincoln Peter was convicted of murder at the Old Bailey in August 2007 and jailed for life with a minimum term of 14 years. Everson Etienne also admitted causing actual bodily harm during the brawl and received a six-month sentence.
Rest in peace Stephen. You will not be forgotten.
