Tony Else was killed on the 1st of June 2002 in Orpington High Street, Bromley, South-East London. 

After drinking with friends and his girlfriend at the Harvest Moon pub, he walked ahead of the group when a window at the Best Kebab Ye shop in Chislehurst Road was smashed. A group of around nine men from the shop charged out, believing he was responsible, and attacked him.

Tony tried to flee into the High Street but collapsed on the pavement from head and arm injuries. Paramedics rushed him to Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup, where he was pronounced dead at around 12:20am on 2 June from serious head injuries. He left behind an eight-year-old son.

Three men from the shop: Adnan HusseinHasan Burunlu, and Hasan Kebene were charged with murder.

Rest in peace Tony. You will not be forgotten.
