Victor Parsons was a 67-year-old man from north London whose life was tragically taken in February 2011.
He is deeply mourned by his family and is remembered with affection by those who knew him. He was attacked while walking in Alexandra Park and later died from the injuries he suffered.
He was the first victim of Ali Koc, a Turkish-born man who carried out a series of random attacks in north London parks. Parsons was battered with a branch shaped like a “caveman’s club,” and he died from his injuries several weeks later. Koc was later convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.
